Oxnard Police Activities League is a city-wide, after-school crime prevention program designed to build positive relationships between youth, police officers and the community. PAL’s mission is to divert youth away from gangs by providing positive alternatives.

Oxnard City Corps

City Corps, a program through the City of Oxnard Recreation Department, exposes youth ages 12-24 to experiential learning and hands-on training through a variety of projects and activities, such as multimedia projects, work and service learning publications, and activities in partnership with other city programs and community organizations. Each City Corps project works as a vocational exploration and introduces young people to the world of work and personal responsibility.

The Triple R Project Provides client services and community capacity building to support Oxnard’s gang reduction efforts.  The Triple R Project seeks to interrupt the cycle of violence through cooperation and collaboration between community members, partner agencies and organizations.  Our multi-faceted approach includes Training, Outreach, Case Management Services and Treatment Groups.

Eligible clients are:

  • 15-24 years old youth
  • Residents of Oxnard Plains communities
  • Gang-involved or at risk for gang involvement
